After many months of filling out applications and going through our rigorous selection process, the new City Year Chicago corps have officially answered the call for service and are in the house!

This past week (in spite of the inclement weather forcing us last minute to switch from a park to our office) we celebrated the arrival of our incoming corps with our annual Meet & Greet. The Meet & Greet is the first major event of the year and our staff, senior corps, and new corps members gathered together for an afternoon of games, socializing, food, and even a raffle where one lucky corps member received a highly coveted City Year watch (they don’t even make them anymore!).
