Every year during Basic Training Academy (affectionately referred to as “BTA” by City Year insiders) the City Year Chicago corps take to the streets of Chicago! They are tasked with navigating the Chicago Transit Authority, learning about some of Chicago’s many neighborhoods, and finding points of interest unknown to the usual tourist.
