On Saturday, August 11, City Year Chicago marched in the 83rd Annual Bud Billiken Parade, the oldest and largest African-American parade in the United States. The parade continues to celebrate the betterment of Chicago’s youth as they prepare to go back to school. Staff and senior corps created signs showing schools where corps members will serve in order to let parade attendees know where City Year will serve this year.
Check out some of the photos from the parade for this week’s Monday Montage!

Great opportunity for City Year! Glad to see everyone involved and getting students excited for school!
